Prestige Beauty Sales Rise 5% in Q2

In the second quarter of 2014, sales of US prestige beauty products were $2.5 billion, a 5% increase from Q2 2013, with sales growth across each of the three primary categories, according to The NPD Group. Makeup sales rose 8% over Q2 2013 to $1.0 billion and fragrance sales jumped 5% to $632 million.
